Categories that often make sense to request
AmeriKiwi's current generally-reviewable categories include clothing, footwear, books and print, collectibles, hobby and craft goods, toys without batteries, ordinary household goods and uncomplicated replacement parts.
These are not automatically approved. They are simply categories that are more likely to fit the current service than regulated or dangerous goods.
Categories that need a closer look
Electronics, battery-powered goods, cosmetics and anything unusual should be treated carefully. A product might be common in the US and still raise import, carrier, ingredient, compliance or safety questions for New Zealand.
The more clearly you describe the product, the better the review can be.
Products AmeriKiwi does not currently accept
Do not submit food, beverages, meat, dairy, honey, supplements, medicines, alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, vapes, perfume, aerosols, flammable products, dangerous chemicals, weapons, firearms, ammunition, seeds, plants or soil.
Some of those are legal or restricted questions. Some are carrier or dangerous-goods questions. Some are AmeriKiwi operating-policy decisions. The result for customers is the same: AmeriKiwi's current service does not accept them.
Turn a wishlist into a request
A useful AmeriKiwi request has the product URL, exact variant, quantity, advertised USD price and delivery postcode. If you are asking for several products, the request can contain multiple line items and may be quoted together.
AmeriKiwi reviews the request before payment, so an early decline costs nothing.

What American products are easiest to request?
Ordinary clothing, footwear, books, collectibles, hobby items, non-battery toys, household goods and uncomplicated parts are usually easier to review than regulated or dangerous-goods categories.
Can I request several American products at once?
Yes. AmeriKiwi supports multi-item requests within the application's request limits, and may consolidate shipping where practical.
